Visit by the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic

The Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, Robert Fico, visited the European Central Bank (ECB) today. The Prime Minister was accompanied by Ján Kubiš, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Maroš Šefčovič, Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to the European Union, Ivan Korčok, Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Germany, and Ivan Šramko, Governor of Národná banka Slovenska.

The Prime Minister and his delegation met Jean-Claude Trichet, President of the ECB, as well as other members of the Executive Board, for an exchange of views on issues of mutual interest.
