Join our virtual focus session on TARGET2/T2S consolidation

On 15 June 2021 the European Central Bank will host a virtual focus session on the TARGET2/T2S consolidation project. The successful launch of the new platform depends on timely preparations being made by all parties involved in the project. The focus session will provide an overview of the status of the project and give key information on the upcoming user testing and migration-related activities. It will also provide areas of focus for market participants preparing for the migration to the platform, which will take place in November 2022. Registration for the event is open on this platform.

The TARGET2/T2S consolidation project will contribute to the further harmonization of European financial markets. It will consolidate technical and functional aspects of the TARGET2 and TARGET2-Securities platforms. In addition, TARGET2 will be replaced by a new real-time gross settlement (RTGS) system and liquidity management will be optimised across all TARGET Services.
